Zazaki (Zazakî) wird in Ostanatolien gesprochen und gilt laut UNESCO als gefährdet, jede Lernerin und jeder Lerner zählt. Es nutzt das lateinische Alphabet und teilt viele Wurzeln mit Kurmandschi, hat aber eine eigenständige Grammatik.
